After Dark — Mirror Work Bag
Material: Cotton fabric, hand tie-dye, mirror work, natural shells, dyed thread
As the day fades, color doesn’t disappear — it deepens. The After Dark bag carries that shift in tone, where indigo meets burnt orange in a slow, grounded transition. Built through traditional Rajasthani mirror work, its surface holds small reflections that don’t shine all at once, but reveal themselves quietly as you move. The soft structure keeps it easy and unforced, while the long shoulder strap lets it fall naturally into your rhythm. There’s no sharp statement here — just a steady presence, shaped by hand, with variations in dye, stitch, and detail that make each piece feel lived-in rather than made.
We source only a few of each piece, so no two people carry the same story. When it's gone, it's gone.

"In parts of Rajasthan, textile work still moves at the pace of the hand. This piece begins with fabric that is carefully tied and dyed in stages, allowing color to settle unevenly and form natural gradients rather than fixed patterns. Once the dyeing is complete, artisans begin the mirror work — placing each reflective element individually and securing it with threadwork that builds both texture and durability. The process is not rushed, and no two outcomes are identical. Slight shifts in tone, spacing, and finish are part of the making, not flaws to be removed. What results is a piece that carries both structure and variation — shaped through repetition of craft, but never exact in outcome."
